Each member of our family style team are licensed and certified in their respective modalities that they teach and practice. In addition, they are all committed to their own personal growth, continued education and development, as well as being present to your individual needs and goals.
Studio Etiquette
Paperwork
Please arrive at the I AM, Maui Center early to fill out your paperwork. Due to the nature of Pre/Post Surgical care, the paperwork is 3 pages long and detailed. Please be prepared to spend some time filling this out accurately to ensure your customized program.
Socks
Please bring clean socks to wear in the straps to keep the equipment sanitary for others. Please also make sure your feet & bodies are clean & rinsed before Sessions. Sand from our Maui beaches can damage our specialized equipment. Mahalo for your Kokua
Perfumes
Please refrain from wearing oils and perfumes, as many people are sensitive in a small studio space. Mahalo
Cell Phones
I AM, Maui is a cell phone free zone. Please also use quite voices in and around the studio while others are in session. Mahalo
First Session
Please be aware that the first sessions generally move at a slower pace, assessing your basic movement patterns and core strength while developing choreography of the exercises. The first session will include going over your intake form. Please be prepared for a conversation about your medical history and goals.
